...yes. There REALLY is no school like Quezon City Academy. I don't know if I should be writing a review like this FOR MY VERY OWN SCHOOL, but I just felt to do so. SO, brace yourselves.
During the last days of my elementary in SAB School, well...I was really getting sick of the it. Including the fact that I have been learning there all my life. But the school had been torturing us lately. So I had my mind set up in leaving that school forever and transfer to a better one. I had my hopes up for QCS High, but unfortunately, I failed the 2nd Screening Exam. (D=)
So during vacation, me and my mom were on a school hunt. We were looking for a decent private school, near our area of course, for me to start my high school life. We looked everywhere the city to inquire. But alas, none were good enough to suit me. 1) I can't go on a school with white uniforms (ask me why) 2) The decent high schools we found were really REALLY far from home and 3) Some schools we found had...unpleasant facilities. So I asked my former classmates what school they're gonna transfer to. And I knew, that most of my friends and best friend are transferring to...yes, QCA.
"QCA? I've never heard of QCA!" I said. So I checked there website and asked my grandparents about the school. Their website was...really fascinating. It was slight out of date though. But I checked there facilities. I was really impressed. I mean, as I've seen from their whatever-advertisement-majigy. So we inquired for the scholarship exam.
Woo. I passed the exam. (25% Scholarship =w=) ...So we were all-ready for enrolling. We bought the uniforms, stuff and books. There's no going back. Oh I was ready. I really wondered how it feels like to be a newbie. I get to make friends of my own! But...
First day. Damn it was early. Everything starts at 6 in the morning. If you look from the outside, the school's just A-OK. I went to the assigned room, saw everyone. We were 60 peeps in the star section. So they had to separate us. I was moved to Star Section 2. It's just for the sake of room space and all. ^^ ...So there was I. We were all new faces. One seemed to stand out. And she got voted as class Mayor. Yipee..?
Yeah and so everything continued. The class was very mellow and very very very very quiet during the early days. I took that opportunity to talk to them. Recess - I noticed everyone was so mellow soo...I made the first move. "Hey everyone! Why so mellow? Why don't we socialize? You can call me Charlotte, by the way." That was one of the bravest things I've ever done. Because usually I don't say those kind of things. And know what they did?! " *silence...* Mayor: Hey everyone! Omg this chowder is sooo hot like wa!; Girl1: Yeah, this is a pretty nice canteen huh? I'm -insert name here-; Girl2: *giggle* Yeah...; Mayor: Hi! I'm -insert name here- *and everybody smiles* " ...I was left all like "...". And the same thing happened over and over, I tried and I tried more for 2 DAMN WEEKS and I get nothing. Seriously, how rude. I've never been made such a fool in my life. *ehem*
After that, I just moved to another section's table. Um, my former classmate's. She already had friends. Pretty much I feel OP. I think it's better to just be alone in one table, eh? But nahh...people would thing I'm...ugh. So I have to stick with my former classmate's. Well I do have fun in their table...yeah.
For 3 months in the damned section I didn't have a friend. But good thing I at least have ONE in my section. My seatmate. She's excused from My Most Hated People list. She does need a little attitude adjustment but..she's fine. At least she's not ignorant. But we're not close yet. We're just, buddies.
The facilities? I was fascinated at first. They have security cameras everywhere. Not to mention the thumb scanner at the entrance. And the more than 100 computers. But most of them were not functional...so I rate 3/5 for that.

Wow I'm writing a novel now.
...and everything goes on. If I would be able to make a list of the school's negatives, they would be:
1) The freshmen are freaks.
2) The sophomores are just meh.
3) The juniors are retarded.
4) The seniors are sh*t.
5) The activities are noob.
6) They always cram.
7) I can't understand a word in their tagalogized letters.
8) Teachers are ... ._.
9) The stairs are bleh.
10) How they manage time is crap.
11) Their canteen products are sold 1 month AFTER manufacture. (That's why I don't buy their milk Dx)
12) They don't have lockers.
13) Too much discrimination for the lower sections.
14) When you want to go to a specific part of the school, (like the library) you MUST get a WRITTEN permit from whoever's in charge.
15) EVERYTHING MUST HAVE A PERMIT. Including if you want to go to the restrooms. (You need a TEACHER's signature.
16) The students are not FREE.
17) WORST SCHOOL EVER.
...and so the list goes on.
And talking about the seniors? F**k. Wannabes if you ask me. It was just cardgiving a while ago and we, the students are supposed to stay in the hall until after the Parent-teacher meeting. Damnit! They could be so O.A., you know? They shout us, even WORSE than a teacher's shout. I think we were shouted for like...4 times? Oh they weren't just normal shouts for me. I felt like...they were shouts of a cranky old woman having her menopause. (Moodswings) ...I mean, WTF. The shouts were so intense, they could make ME cry. Words can't describe. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE STUDENTS. Because like them, WE DON'T WANT TO BE TREATED THAT WAY. They're worse than short-tempered old bags! They called us disrespectful? Well, HA. THEY WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT RESPECT MEANS IF IT HIT THEM IN THE @$$. They can't even respect us! Called us rude? RUDE!?! How 'bout their little yells? It would've disturbed the meeting! SHIT THEIR FACE. They wouldn't know what a real teacher would do. Such a disgrace. They could scare 10,000 children with their screams. Just, shut up.
-breathe- :D
Hm. I might get sued for this. Sorry for the negative comments. But I'm SO transferring next year. If one of you, my dear dear classmates saw this, then... screw it. Don't worry, there ARE positives:
1) They end classes at 11:50 AM.
2) 2nd and 4th year classes start at 12 or something. (PM) But end at 6.
3) There's Internet Lab Day. (Class in the internet lab for 6 hours. Yes you can log on Facebook)
4) The teachers give additional information to their lectures.
5) Values = outstanding.
...that's it.
Sue me QCA "Citizens". But hey, I did write positives! Go ahead and post negative comments. You can't change my opinion. Yes, opinion. Forgive me, admin, staff, faculty.
